Job Requirements :

Position Title: Assistant HR Manager

Reporting To: HR Lead

Location: Kabul

Contract Duration: Permanent

Purpose of the Position:

The Assistant HR Manager will support the HR Lead in strategic and operational HR management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring alignment of HR practices with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for internal and external positions, ensuring high-quality candidate selection.

• Oversee HR operations including payroll, attendance, leave management, and benefits administration.

• Support performance management, staff development, and succession planning processes.

• Provide guidance on HR policies, labor law compliance, and organizational best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HR initiatives and projects.

• Assist in workforce planning and employee engagement strategies.

• Prepare HR reports, analytics, and documentation for senior management and audits.

• Act as backup for the HR Lead in decision-making and day-to-day operations when required.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; ACCA or MBA in Finance is a plus.

• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including supervisory or managerial roles.

• Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and organizational practices.

• Proven ability to lead HR projects and manage multiple priorities.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

• Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office.
