Job Requirements :

1. Purpose of the Internship

The Internship Program is designed to provide talented students and recent graduates with practical, hands-on experience in the private sector. The program aims to develop young professionals by exposing them to real organizational operations, professional work environments, and industry practices.

Interns will contribute to ongoing projects while strengthening their professional, analytical, and digital competencies. The program encourages innovation, teamwork, and professional development, with particular emphasis on digital, financial, and technology-related skills relevant to modern private sector operations.

Interns may be placed in different departments including Human Resources, Finance, Internal Audit, ISP/Telecommunications, Taxation, Technology, Media & Communications, IT Systems, Digital Payment Platforms (e.g., HesabPay), Operations, Administration, and other functional units.

2. Duties and Responsibilities

2.1 Departmental and Project Support

Interns will support assigned departments by:

• Assisting in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of departmental projects.

• Conducting research and analysis on industry trends, policies, and operational processes.

• Preparing reports, presentations, and documentation related to departmental activities.

• Supporting the development of operational procedures, guidelines, or technical documentation.

2.2 Administrative Support

• Provide general administrative support to assigned departments.

• Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, conferences, and internal events.

• Maintain records, files, and documentation in both physical and digital formats.

• Support scheduling, correspondence, and coordination between departments.

2.3 Communication and Media Support

• Assist in drafting internal and external communication materials.

• Support preparation of press releases, newsletters, and social media content.

• Contribute to digital communication strategies and outreach initiatives.

• Assist in maintaining stakeholder communication and coordination.

2.4 Data Management and Analysis

• Collect, compile, and analyze operational or project-related data.

• Assist in database management, digital record keeping, and reporting systems.

• Ensure accurate and timely data entry and verification.

• Support departments in preparing analytical reports and dashboards.

2.5 Technical and Digital Support

Depending on departmental assignment, interns may:

• Support IT and technology teams in system monitoring and troubleshooting.

• Assist with digital platforms, databases, and internal software systems.

• Provide basic support for network, ISP, or digital payment systems.

• Contribute to digital innovation, automation, and technology-related initiatives.

2.6 Learning and Professional Development

• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship opportunities.

• Engage in self-directed learning to enhance technical and professional skills.

• Attend departmental meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions.

• Contribute ideas for improving operational efficiency and service delivery.

2.7 Other Responsibilities

• Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor or department head.

• Adhere to organizational policies, confidentiality standards, and professional conduct.

3. Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university in relevant fields such as:

o Business Administration

o Finance or Accounting

o Economics

o Information Technology or Computer Science

o Telecommunications

o Media and Communications

o Taxation and Law

o Digital Technology

o Trade and Industry

o Agriculture or related disciplines

• Strong academic performance.

• Basic knowledge of digital tools and modern workplace technologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic digital tools.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.

• Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto, with working knowledge of English preferred.
